ADEOYE FADEYIBI

Adeoye Fadeyibi is a Power industry expert with extensive experience that has spanned over two decades in strategic positions. His dedication and excellence helped in his rise to the position of Gas Turbines installations director, Portfolio Manager and Sales Director for General Electric Energy covering the Middle East and African Regions. In 2013, he was appointed as pioneer MD/CEO of Transcorp Power Limited (TPL), Ughelli, Delta State a Generation Company that acquired Nigeria’s largest gas fired power plant where grew the plant available capacity from 164MW to 634MW within 25 months.

He was then appointed November 2017 as first to lead both generation and distribution post privatization where he currently serves as MD/CEO of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) and he is leading the Company to achieving remarkable milestones in the Power industry space.

He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), Fellow Institute of Credit Administrators (FICA), Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Mechanical Engineers (FNIMechE), members of Institute of Directors and Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) respectively.

He is married with 4 children and has a passion for developing world class talent in the Nigeria power space

SOLAPE HAMMOND

Solape Hammond is the Special Adviser  to the Governor of Lagos State on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Investments. Prior to this, she worked in the private sector for over 20 years in various capacities, gathering experience in Management Consulting, Risk Management, Banking and Financial Advisory.

Solape commenced her consulting career at Accenture, leaving as a Manager in the Finance and Performance Management Market Unit. She has also previously worked in Credit Administration and Risk Management at a Nigerian Merchant Bank and served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a financial advisory firm based in Lagos with clients across Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia and other parts of Africa.She then established a business advisory firm – Ten Talents Limited – which provides business planning, recruitment, strategy development, process improvement, organizational transformation, risk management, performance management, programme management and financial advisory services.

She also co-founded Impact Hub Lagos and served as it’s inaugural CEO. Impact Hub Lagos is part of a rapidly expanding global network of over 16,000 members across 90+ open hubs in 50 countries worldwide.the years, Solape has supported several national macro-economic transformation initiatives including the Central Bank of Nigeria Transformation Programme (CBN Project EAGLES 2003-2005) and the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) Capital Markets Transformation Plan (2013-2014) as well as on interventions for small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) providing fundraising and advisory services, consulting support and research.

Mr. Olatunbosun Alake
is an Information Technology & Business Management executive with more than 10 years of experience spanning different disciplines within the Technology, Media & Entertainment and Public Service space. This includes Product Management, Business Intelligence, Application Development & Business Development spanning across the Telecommunications, Technology and Media sectors. Mr. Alake has worked on and deployed a diverse set of enterprise applications that deliver value to employees and customers within said industries.

Beginning his career as a technology consultant in Philadelphia, U.S.A, Mr. Alake was able to manage technology related issues for clients across the hardware and software spectrum. His transition to Nigeria saw him take up a position as technical Learning & Development specialist at IPNX Telecoms Nigeria Ltd. where he deployed and managed technical and generic organizational learning programs that contributed to significant improvements in organizational productivity.

Mr. Olatunbosun Alake graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer & Information Science from Temple University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, U.S.A. He also possesses a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in General Management. Mr. Alake possesses a certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School in Organizational Choice Architecture & Decision Science. He also has completed numerous organizational trainings including Organizational Management, Leadership & Management for Executives, Managerial Finance, Telecoms Fundamentals, Time Management & Organizational Effectiveness.

BUNMI AKINYEMIJU

BUNMI AKINYEMIJU is a serial entrepreneur, technology innovator and investor. He is the CEO of Venture Garden Group (VGG), arguably one of the largest fintech investment companies in Africa. VGG is the parent company of Venture Garden Nigeria, a high growth technology platform company addressing payment and data inefficiencies across multiple sectors; GreenHouse Capital, the venture arm of VGG which has invested in 25 innovative fintech companies across Africa; and Nigeria’s iconic technology campus, Vibranium Valley. 

Bunmi sits at the helms of leadership at VGG, which has dedicated its resources to transforming Africa through technology and has successfully led several impactful change projects through strategic public and private sector partnerships in several sectors such as education, social investments, etc. He is also the Head, Digital Economy Policy Commission at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group where he is helping to shape the Nigerian tech landscape through policy advocacy and effective collaboration.

In 2017, Bunmi was nominated as one of the top 100 Most Influential People of African Descent in Business and Entrepreneurship by the United Nations. VGG was also recognized by the British Government for its contributions to transparency and good governance in Africa. ENOBONG LAUREATTA EZEKIEL

Enobong Ezekiel is currently the Ag. Chief Commercial Officer of Ikeja Electric one of the Discos within the Power Sector. In this capacity, she supervises the company’s customer database with respect to commercial functions and operations within the network coverage of Ikeja Electric.

An experienced commercial and management expert with over 25 years’ experience working across multiple industry domains, including Financial, FCMG and recently the power sector across various markets. Expertise in people management, customer service, product strategy, ideation, innovation and target delivery.

Experienced in setting up and management of large-scale cross-functional teams across multiple verticals – Marketing, Finance, Technical, Human Resources etc. – to ensure cohesive delivery of key business projects and objectives. Also fully versed in commercial management side of the business projects to ensure financial targets are met in line with overall strategy

She has held previous roles as the Business Manager of 3 Business units within the same Disco and also a past experienced banker with a career spanning over 20 years having worked in Access and Diamond Banks respectively. Enobong Ezekiel holds a BA (Hons) Degree in English, An MBA specializing in Management and several professional qualifications. 

 

KOLA BALOGUN

Kola Balogun is the Chairman, Momas Electricity Meters Manufacturing Company Limited (MEMMCOL). A graduate of Electrical/Electronic Engineering at Kwara State Polytechnics. Balogun holds a postgraduate diploma from the Ladoke Akintola University, and a chartered Public Private Partnership (PPP) specialist from IP3 Veginia, United State of America. 

He is also a Honorary Distinguished Member of the Center for Democratic Governance in Africa (DMCDGA), and he awarded with Honorary Doctor of Philosophy by University of Janus, U.S.A.  

Balogun became a member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering In Nigeria (COREN) on September 27, 2017 

HIS passion and vision to deepen metering technology locally embolden the conceptualization of Momas Electricity Meter Manufacturing Company Limited (MEMMCOL). His commitments embolden the vision of making Nigeria a metering manufacturing country among elite’s nations of this world. He was also honoured with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) Local Content in Power Sector Award 2018, Appreciation Awards from Rotary Club of Omole as Chief Sponsor in August 2018,

Ms Chantelle Abdul is a consummate business woman, key power sector stakeholder and serial entrepreneur whose experience and reach despite her young age, traverses the globe-from the America to Africa and Asia. As Managing Director and Chief Executive of Mojec International holdings, Ms Abdul presides over a portfolio of companies that are leaders in their respective industries namely: Mojec Meter Asset Management company, Virtuitis Solaris Power, Mojec Meter Company, Agriculture and the Meter Service Hub. Before joining MOJEC, she was the Vice President, Development at The Executive Group (TEG), a Washington based Consulting Group known for bi-lateral trade & advisory in critical sectors. 

Her first venture into Africa was the Licence acquisition and rights to production and broadcast of the African version of Donald Trump’s acclaimed business series: The Apprentice Africa across the US, UK and Africa. She later went on to launch her own investment series called: The Billionaire Executive Series. 

Ms Abdul  who graduated Cum Laude from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C, ( a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology and Economics), began her career with Solomon Smith Barney in Washington DC in 2002 and later at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in 2003-2004. ’Chinua Azubike

’Chinua Azubike is the pioneer Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of InfraCredit, prior to this, he was the project lead for the establishment of a Nigeria Infrastructure Credit Enhancement Facility, where he assisted GuarantCo and the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority to establish InfraCredit as its first employee. He holds an MSc. in Finance & Financial Law from University of London and studied law at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Chinua Azubike has garnered over 15 years’ experience in corporate/structured finance and debt capital market roles. Chinua has a strong and practical know-how of local capital markets with a firm interest in market development and has acted as a lead adviser in the establishment of key development finance institutions in Nigeria. He was the Managing Director of a corporate finance advisory firm, based in Lagos, Nigeria and prior to this worked in a top-tier domestic investment banking firm.

Chinua Azubike is currently the chairperson of the Regulation Consolidation Sub-Committee of FMDQ Debt Capital Market Development Project. Ahmed Hamdy is an Electronics and communication Engineer.He has been working at ISKRAEMECO from more than 10 years, he was a project Manager for STS Meters in Africa for three years, he has Worked in the field of Meter Production as Production Manager for 5 years.

He currently serves as a Head of P.M (Product Managers) his achievements in the field includes but are not limited to ; Supply, Apply and Building Manufacturing Facilities in Diala (IRAQ), Lagos (Nigeria). Supply and apply 300K STS Meters in Togo, 100K STS Meters to Zimbabwe and Liberia.

Currently working on Supplying 600K Smart Meters, AMI SW and Building Factory in Madagascar).

DAPO FAWORAJA

PRESCRIPTION LEAD, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC

Dapo Faworaja is the Prescription Lead for Schneider Electric, an Energy management and Automation company. He helps his clients in understanding their problems and engineers electrical solutions to meet their needs. Dapo’s professional career has spanned from Consulting Engineering to Telecoms.

 
He is able to provide support and answer questions related to the electrical aspects of Buildings, Data Centers, Industries and Utilities/Infrastructure. Dapo is registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

OLADAYO OROLU

Oladayo Orolu is a Chartered Accountant and fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He studied Industrial Chemistry at the University of Lagos and holds MBA from University of Warwick. 

He is presently Head of Business Development and Government Affairs at Siemens Energy Nigeria with responsibility for corporate strategy, cross divisional business, technical training, and coordinating the Presidential Power Initiative. He held previous roles as Head of Accounting and Controlling at Siemens Nigeria, Head of Finance and Administration at Camac Petroleum Limited, Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Akintola Williams Deloitte

 

Alex Okheime

HEAD METERING, IKEJA ELECTRIC

Engr Alex Okheime is a seasoned metering expert with over 17 years of experience in the power sector. Alex is an Electrical Engineer and currently Heads the maximum demand revenue monitoring and optimization unit of the metering section.   He has worked with Kano Electricity Distribution Company for about 10 years at various sections of both commercial and technical departments before joining Ikeja Electric in 2013.

Added to his role as an Electrical Engineer, are strong commercial and negotiation skills which are added value to the organisation. Alex earned a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Bayero University, Kano in 2012 where he developed a passionate interest in metering and went ahead to develop a microcontroller based electronic energy meter as his thesis at the time. 

He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Council for the Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria COREN) and National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). 

STEPHEN IMOMOH

SALES DIRECTOR, G.E RENEWABLE ENERGY

Stephen Imomoh is a Sales Director at GE Renewable Energy, leading the Hydro & Grid Solutions business in Anglophone West Africa covering High Voltage, Power Transformers, Grid Automation and Power Quality Equipment.Prior to joining GE, Stephen was a Business Segment Lead at Siemens, a company he joined in 2010.Stephen is living proof of hard work, tenacity and impeccable dedication to work with a positive attitude to life. 

He has demonstrated unbridled brilliance in the course of his 16+ years’ experience in the Power industry and has left a trail of significant achievements in several blue-chip companies with his ability to think analytically, resolve complex situations and manage diverse/multicultural teams.As a firm believer in human capacity development, Stephen has attended shedload of trainings both home and abroad.

Israel Oyinlola is the head of engineering research where he focuses on implementing bleeding edge innovation cutting across the entire group. With over 10 years of experience in implementing AI technologies and models, algorithmic finance, aviation and payment systems, he has helped VGG build up new businesses and technologically firm up existing ones.

Israel has several other professional certificates and training including one from Rice university center for engineering leadership.

Moyosore Oyefuga is the Offer/Product Manager for Digital Energy at Schneider Electric. A key player in the digital story at SE, his commercial knowledge of the products is backed by a strong technical knowledge of digital power and building solutions.

Moyo’s professional career began in Control Systems before joining the Offer Marketing team at Schneider Electric as a Product Application Engineer. He’s also shown a strong interest in data science and analytics having served as an analyst early on in his career.

Muyiwa Akinkunmi

Engr. Muyiwa Akinkunmi is a Member of Nigerian Society of Engineers and a registred Engineer with Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

He is currently Head Metering in the operations Department, Eko Electricity Distribution Company where he oversees deployment and Management of Smart Meters.

Engr. Akinkunmi has about three decades in engineering practice both in private and public sectors with wide experience on Energy Metering.

Prior to His current position, he held the position of Principal Manager, Test and Calibration in 2012 with the defunct PHCN.

He has passsion for Metrology (Science of Measurement).

EMEKA AZUKA OKOYE

Emeka Azuka Okoye is a Knowledge Scientist that helps organizations and governments undergoing digital transformation towards data-driven operations to exploit their data assets in capturing information needed to simulate human decision-making and high-level cognitive tasks that can be used to solve complex problems and achieve their objectives.

In the last 25 years, Emeka has been at the forefront of technology and innovation in Nigeria from cofounding the earliest startup (ngex.com) to building cognitive solutions like Enterprise Knowledge Graph.

As a Technology leader, Moses advises businesses on architectural designs, best practices, technology choices and system security protocols. He has experience in Telecoms, Medical, Educational and Financial sectors implementing technology.

Babatope Oluwagbemiga

SENIOR MANAGER, ABUJA ELECTRIC

Engr. Babatope Oluwagbemiga is a highly-qualified, experienced and energetic Electrical Engineer with versatile knowledge and expertise in smart energy meter technology. 

Having worked in a number of organisations in public and private sectors, He is versed in process improvement and optimisation, which is evident in his achievements in the various organisations he worked in, where he designed innovative solutions to some of the persistent problems affecting electricity distribution sub-sector. 

Through his efforts, he has ensured that Company clients get the requisite technology solutions to improve the revenue profiles of their businesses. He is currently the Senior Manager Metering in Abuja Electricity Distribution Company leading a team of 106 people and overseeing deployment of 120,000 meters. He ensured the deployment of associated metering infrastructure such as AMI/AMR and acquisition of substantial number of meters onto the platform for remote data collection and analytics. He plays a key role in resolving energy transaction bottlenecks within the NESI. He is a member of the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

TESLIM ABIUWA OLADELE

ASST. CHIEF ENGINEER, E.M.D.I

Engineer TESLIM ABIUWA OLADELE is a graduate of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a bias in Power Engineering . He has over a decade of postgraduate work experience and training in National agency for Science and engineering infrastructure (NASENI), Abuja and has also worked with two other Institute, Power Equipment and Electrical Machinery Development Institute( PEEMADI),Okene and currently in Engineering Materials Development Institute (EMDI) ,Akure as an Assistant Chief Engineer. He is a registered Engineer with COREN, and has a strong penchant for pragmatic research in Hardware Engineering. He recently delved into smart control system engineering which led to the development of (ERFSCS) Emdi Rotary Furnace Smart Control System. He is married with children.

 

ADEWALE OBAJEMU

HEAD, METERING IBEDC

Adewale Obajemu is an accomplished Engineering Professional registered with COREN and a Member of Nigeria Society of Engineers.

He joined the services of NEPA in 1988 and still practising as an Engineer till date. He headed Distribution Protection, Control and Metering in NEPA. He was the material testing officer for a decade ensuring compliance with specifications and standards. He was a Business Manager in PHCN and presently the Head, Metering (IBEDC) Ibadan largest Disco in Nigeria- playing key role in metering operations.

He is a graduate of Electrical/Electronic Engineering. University of Ife and He is Happily married with a son.

 

Oluwafeyisayomi Ogunbodede

SENIOR PRODUCT ANALYST, ACCESS BANK

Oluwafeyisayomi Ogunbodede is a Senior Product Analyst at Access Bank and he leads the Digital Experience and Engagement unit at the African Fintech Foundry. Prior to that, he worked as a Digital Banking Analyst at Barclays Bank in the U.K before relocating to Nigeria. 

Feyisayo has led and collaborated on numerous digital initiatives and projects and has a wealth of experience in developing and managing user-centric products. Moreover, he has successfully coordinated and organized 3 hackathons, and 2 tech conferences targetted at building the technology ecosystem in Nigeria.

Feyisayo graduated with a B.Eng degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham. He also holds an M.Sc degree in Energy and Power electronics from the University of Warwick.

THEOPHILUS IGHALO

Theophilus Ighalo is a Software Developer at Venture Garden Group where he focuses on building and maintaining scalable and reliable financial systems and integrations. With over 6 years of experience and a vast combination of software development skills, Theophilus has been able to implement projects at all levels of the technological stack from ideation, to design, to software development. 

As a mentor, he has been able to train entry-level software developers both within and outside the Venture Garden Group ecosystem. 

Theophilus also poses several certifications, as well as a master’s degree in technology management from Obafemi Awolowo University.

JOSHUA EHOCHE

TECHNICAL PROMOTIONS SPECIALIST, A.B.B

Joshua Ehoche is an Electrical and Computer Engineer with a Bachelors from Ahmadu Bello University. He started out with a background in networking attaining a CCNA certificate and working in enterprise level network support. Continued his career in Ikeja Electric Lagos making a switch into Power, where he worked in Network planning and design and quality control departments. He later joined ABB as technical promotions specialist, after a one year training at several ABB factories in Italy, Germany, Finland and Switzerland He went on to promote ABB value added solutions to Consultants and ABB channels in Nigeria. He has experience in the new Industrial IOT and industrial digitization and champions promotion of the ABB Ability solutions portfolio.

KOLA OYENIRAN

Kola Oyeniran has been in the ICT industry since 1991 working in various capacities and in different sectors. Presently, he is a Deputy Director/Head ICT  with National Agency for Science And Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) Abuja, He started his career as an IT consultant with PricewaterHouseCoopers and later joined Intercellular Nig Ltd (a telecommunications outfit) as a Senior Manager in charge of Billing and rose to Head, ICT Thereafter, he joined John Holt plc as a General Manager (GM) ICT for systems design, development, implementation of both bespoke and off the shelf software systems. Specific duties and roles performed and projects handled in the last 27 years of his career include:

•Evaluation of software and hardware systems  for optimal performance in an Enterprise environment

•Network planning for new operational branch(es) and deployment of ICT infrastructures nationally.

•Development of Specifications Requirements for Hardware and software products
